hi. i have one question. my friend says that there is same loot of ectos and shards in normal/hard mode uw/fow. i think that there is more in hard mode. i read updates and now im confused...

The average number of uncommon and rare items has been increased in Hard mode.

Adjusted the following items so that they are now exempt from loot scaling:
Rare materials, such as Ectoplasm

and now, is loot of ectos and shards in normal/hard uw/fow same or there is more in hard?? i know that in hard there is more gold item drop, but im askin about ectos and shards.... pls tell me.

Loot scaling is screwed up. There are multiple threads about how loot scaling/anti-farm code isn't working.... and the bots are running rampant in many many places in both campaigns. BIG screwup ANET..... gg.

yes it was increased so you got more ecto and shard drops.

this changed it so the rare items drop the same instead of the 1/8th portiony ou get with regular items

Solo farming has also gotten much better, faster in HM and simpler in UW.

Bots are just having a field day, but even for players it's incredibly viable.
